Hi, I’m Eddie — Chaos & Wellbeing Consultant at We Do Your Group. I joined the service desk and operations team because, honestly, somewhere this busy needed my particular set of skills. I’m a Labradoodle Lurcher of considerable size, limitless enthusiasm and — I’ll be transparent here — very few thoughts in my head at any one time. What I lack in strategic thinking I more than make up for in heart, energy and an absolute refusal to let anyone take themselves too seriously.

My Favourite Parts of the Job

Playing. All of it. Everything is a game and I approach every situation with that in mind. Tight deadline? Great time for zoomies. Stressful afternoon? I’ll sit on someone. Important meeting? Excellent — I’ll attend uninvited and contribute enthusiastically.

I also genuinely love the team. Every single person in this building is my best friend. Some of them know this. Others are still coming to terms with it.

My Experience

My background is extensive and varied, spanning activities such as running very fast for no reason, misplacing things, greeting strangers as though they are long-lost family and occasionally forgetting what I was doing mid-action. I bring all of this experience to the operations team daily, and the results speak for themselves.

My Hobbies & Interests

Playing, running, playing while running, being stroked, playing, leaning on people who look like they need company, more playing, the occasional existential pause where I stare at nothing for several seconds before immediately forgetting about it, and play.

I also enjoy meeting new people, all of whom are immediately and unconditionally my favourite person in the world. And water. Not drinking it — fighting it. Hoses, puddles, garden sprinklers — I consider them all a personal challenge and I have never once backed down.

The value that resonates most with me is You — people first, always. I have never in my life prioritised anything above the humans around me. Not a single time. If you are in this building, you have my full attention, my complete affection and, if you’re not careful, my entire body weight resting against your legs. I exist to make people feel better. I do this consistently, enthusiastically and without any awareness that I’m doing it whatsoever.
