Hi, I’m Will — Marketing Assistant at We Do Your Marketing. I joined the team in 2026 and have since established myself as, by my own assessment, the funniest person in the office. This is not up for debate. I’m chatty, cheeky, relentlessly positive and absolutely committed to winding people up in a way they can’t quite object to. I bring an open mind, a genuine desire to learn and an apparently unstoppable enthusiasm that the team has largely come to accept.

My Favourite Parts of the Job

The people, the energy and the opportunity to keep getting better. I’m genuinely keen to learn and improve at every stage, and I approach the work with an open mind and a lot of enthusiasm — whether that’s wanted or not. Marketing is a craft and I take it seriously, even when I’m simultaneously ragebaiting a colleague or breaking into an unsolicited lullaby for one of the office dogs.

I also enjoy the creative side enormously. There’s something really satisfying about taking an idea and making it into something real, and I bring a fresh perspective and a willingness to try things that I think genuinely adds to what the team produces.

My Experience

I joined We Do Your Marketing in 2026, bringing with me a keen eye for what works, a natural ability to connect with people and an absolute refusal to take myself too seriously. My background is in learning fast, adapting quickly and throwing myself into new challenges with everything I’ve got. Marketing suits me well — it rewards curiosity, creativity and the ability to read a room, all of which I consider personal strengths.

My Hobbies & Interests

Outside of work I keep myself very busy. I train Muay Thai, hit the gym regularly and do fire spinning — which is exactly as impressive as it sounds and I will absolutely show you if given the opportunity. I’m also an avid chess player and an enthusiastic Lego builder, which I maintain is completely compatible with the Muay Thai and nobody can tell me otherwise. Music is a big part of my life too and I have strong feelings about it across a wide range of genres.

And yes, I do sing lullabies to the office dogs. They love it. The humans are coming around.

I'm here to learn, to grow and to make this team laugh whether they want to or not. Mostly all three at once.

The value that resonates most with me is You — people first, always. Everything I do at work, I do with the people around me in mind. I’m a natural connector — I find it easy to build rapport, lift the energy in a room and make people feel genuinely welcome and included. My positivity might be described by some colleagues as unwanted. I prefer the term freely given. Either way, I’m not stopping. People matter, relationships matter, and making sure the people around you feel good is something I take seriously — even when I’m winding them up at the same time.
