I’m a curious and determined IT support professional with experience working across a variety of industries, including Education, Charity, Manufacturing, and even a global brand. This diversity has made me adaptable and ready to take on whatever challenge comes next. I’m hands-on, persistent, and thrive on finding practical solutions to problems. Whether it’s troubleshooting technical issues or juggling multiple priorities, I stay focused and work to ensure everything gets sorted efficiently.
One of my favourite things about working in IT is the opportunity to support people, no matter their level of technical ability. I love the variety of challenges that come with keeping systems running smoothly, and the fact there’s always something new to learn is an added bonus. It’s a dynamic field, and that constant evolution makes the work meaningful and rewarding.
For me, customer experience is key. I want everyone I work with to feel supported, understood, and confident that their issues will be resolved both quickly and effectively. I focus on clear communication, patience — especially when someone is feeling stressed or frustrated — and providing practical solutions. My goal isn’t just to fix immediate problems but to help prevent them from happening again. I want people to see IT as more than a hurdle; it’s a valuable and reliable tool that makes their day run smoother.
Outside of work, my time is all about family, music, and a bit of baking! I’m part of a blended family with 2 adults, 5 kids, and 4 cats, so there’s never a dull moment. We love going on day trips, and the under-10s are all enthusiastic cake bakers when they come over at the weekends. I’m also a huge music fan and a dedicated vinyl collector, with over 1,400 records in my collection.
And here’s a fun little tidbit about me—I share my Christmas Day birthday with my son. He calls me his “birthday buddy” and loves telling everyone about it. It’s a unique connection we’ll always have, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
