About the position
The 1st Line IT Consultant position at We Do Your IT Limited requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, fostering a structured work routine that promotes work-life balance. You’ll have a dedicated thirty-minute lunch break each day to recharge. This role, based in our welcoming office in Bradley Stoke, Bristol, involves providing first-line support for time-sensitive queries and addressing software issues. You will collaborate closely with a dynamic team while maintaining accurate records and utilising Microsoft Office as part of your daily tasks. Comprehensive training will be provided to cover all aspects of the role, including our systems and processes.
Experience
At We Do Your IT Limited, while we welcome a diverse range of applicants, ideal but not essential experience for our 1st Line IT Consultants includes:
- First-line and second-line helpdesk support with strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to solve basic technical issues
- Office 365 management, specifically with Exchange and SharePoint
- Project management experience for migrations to Office 365
- Windows Server administration
- New user setups and implementation of security policies
- Familiarity with Microsoft Hyper-V
- Network management, including TCP/IP, routing, and VLAN configuration
- VPN configuration and wireless technologies
- Firewall configuration
