As a 2nd Line IT Technician at We Do Your IT Limited, you will play a key role in delivering IT consultancy services to our small and medium-sized business clients. About The Position
We are seeking a focused and passionate second-line IT Technician to join our dynamic team at We Do Your IT. In this role, you’ll focus on solving problems and addressing issues that our clients face. The ideal candidate will have strong IT knowledge, keen attention to detail, and exceptional problem-solving abilities while maintaining a friendly disposition that fosters a supportive team environment.
Initially, you’ll work alongside our experienced team in our office in Bradley Stoke, Bristol, engaging in various tasks to support our customers. This position entails a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday, including a 30-minute lunch break. We will train you to ensure that you understand and can make full use of our systems. After you can use our systems, we’re excited to offer a hybrid working option that allows you to enjoy a blend of remote and office-based days, enhancing flexibility and work-life balance. Experience:
Experience of the following would be ideal but is not essential:
- Working for a similar MSP supporting small and medium businesses is preferred.
- 1st line and 2nd line helpdesk support with good troubleshooting skills.
- Office 365 management (Exchange and SharePoint)
- Project manage migrations to Office 365
- Windows Server administration
- New user setups
- Security policies
- Microsoft Hyper-V
- Network management
- TCP/IP, Routing, VLAN
- VPN
- Wireless configuration/technologies
- Firewall configuration
