Who are We Do Your Group and what were they looking for?
We Do Your Group are a group of technology companies that work across a number of sectors focusing on delivering great IT Support, IT Supplies, Communications, Hosting and Marketing to Bristol and the South-West. We collectively as a company that our current logo (right) was no longer fit for purpose, and even with some small tweaks to try and rectify things (right), this logo was still not going to be able to serve us in the long term.

We didn’t have any idea what we wanted to do, so to start with, we developed an initial design with some small tweaks.
The first step once we realised that the current design wasn’t going to work was to look at the fonts that we could use within the new logo. The dark blue represents the original font, while the light blue represents the new font we choose. When choosing this font, we looked at Google Fonts to decide on what font to use to ensure maximum compatibility. This also included a slight colour adjustment as well to make the colours pantone and web safe as well as darker and bolder.
Next, we tried to place the font in different ways, looking for shapes or similar that could be used within the logo.
We then used this information on our favourite bits of the font placement experimentation to work through some new designs.

We then made final adjustments and created different variations to ensure the branding can look great in all scenarios.
